Dear Parents and Families,

Thank you for helping us make the first day of school such a wonderful start to the new year! We know that the first day can bring a mix of excitement and emotions, especially for our students who may be nervous about a new classroom, teacher, or routine.

Beginning tomorrow, parents and families will no longer be able to walk students into the building or to their classrooms. This is an important step in helping our teachers establish consistent classroom routines and expectations from the very beginning of the school year.

We understand that this transition may be difficult for some students (and parents!), but please know that our teachers and staff are ready to greet students, provide reassurance, and help them get settled. In many cases, students become more confident and independent when they are given the opportunity to enter school on their own.
