Fan Bus to Rankin! We’re seeing how many students (6th-12th) would be interested in riding a fan bus to the volleyball game in Rankin on Thursday! If you’d like to go and cheer on our Lady Eagles, please sign up in the front office on Monday. Let’s pack the stands and show our support!

Let’s send our Lady Eagles off in style! We’ve got two send-offs this week — 🏐 Volleyball: Thursday at 1:00 PM 🏃‍♀️ Cross Country: Friday at 8:00 AM Let’s come out and show all of these young ladies the love! Line Concho Street and honk them out as they head to compete! Anyone and everyone is welcome — the more, the better! Let’s make some noise and show that Eagle Pride!

Our physics students have been learning all about Newton’s Laws of Motion! From exploring inertia to understanding how forces cause motion, they’re putting science into action through hands-on experiments and problem solving.

Our juniors have been busy giving presentations over their résumés and future career goals! It’s always exciting to see them thinking ahead and taking steps toward their futures. Great job, juniors — your hard work and confidence show!

Our seniors are hard at work setting up for Senior Bingo! Come on out and show your support — it’s going to be a fun time filled with prizes, laughter, and community spirit. Let’s pack the room!

Sterling City ISD community, Please be aware that the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will be operating a drone over Sterling City this evening as part of an authorized training and monitoring activity. You may notice the drone flying in and around the area for a short period of time. There is no cause for concern — this operation is coordinated and approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Mini cheer camp practice

Our Culinary students are sharpening their knife skills — mastering precision, safety, and technique as they prepare for hands-on success in the kitchen. Meanwhile, our 8th grade Science students are exploring the stars through Hertzsprung–Russell diagrams, learning how scientists classify stars by brightness, color, and temperature.

As we wrap up the first few months of school, we hope that the community has noticed our emphasis on communication. We want to celebrate the great things going on in Sterling City ISD, keep you updated on key events, and share information seamlessly. We believe social media platforms and the Sterling City app are tools that help us; we also realize that tried and true communication tools are also important. I wanted to let you know we are aware of some issues with the existing phone lines., and so are in the process of possibly switching phone services. In the meantime, the list of numbers here should be working at this point.
