Track season is in full swing and off to a record-breaking start for some of our athletes! Congratulations to the following! We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!!🦅

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 We would like to inform the community about our upcoming Shattered Dreams program taking place on Wednesday, March 11th, at 1:30 p.m. in the Sterling City's ISD parking lot. This is designed to educate students on the real-life consequences of impaired and distracted driving. The event will include a staged vehicle crash, with student participants portraying injuries and being transported by EMS and Med Flight as part of the demonstration. *Please note that there will be a heavy law enforcement and EMS presence before and during the program. There is no cause for alarm—all activity is planned and part of the program.

The week before Spring Break is here, and it’s going to fly by! We have a lot of exciting activities planned for our students:

Your Eagles had an amazing day on the course! Although they did not bring home any hardware, they still improved tremendously and missed second place by just one stroke!⛳️🦅

ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS:
Please see the attached schedule for concession stand duties during the Eagle Relays! We appreciate all students that signed up to work and make this night run smoothly!

⭐️ This year, Sterling City ISD competed in the Spanish Spelling Bee at Region 15 in San Angelo. Our 5th and 6th graders did a great job competing for their first time. 🥇We are super excited to announce that Dylan Padron won the 6th-8th grade competition and will advance to state! We are so proud! 💛 A special thanks to Ms. Daniela Ortiz for coaching our students.

ATTENTION: The NHS Induction Ceremony has been moved to April 22 at 2:00 due to conflicting schedules. Thank you for your understanding!

Attached are the schedules for both track meets this week. Thanks to all the volunteers who help make this a great meet! There's still chances to help with events and concession stand!

The Food Distribution will be at the FCS Building on Tuesday, March 3rd.

Sterling City FCCLA members traveled to Abilene to compete in various STAR Events, and they represented Sterling City with excellence! Their effort, professionalism, and teamwork were evident in every competition.

When you see these members, please help us congratulate them- not only for their achievements, but for the way they represented our school. We are extremely proud of each of you!

We have another busy and exciting week ahead at Sterling City ISD!

There are lots of great things happening on campus, and we are especially looking forward to our Track Meet on Thursday and Friday. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We encourage all of our parents, families, and community members to come out and support our athletes. Your encouragement from the stands makes a big difference and means so much to our students!

We’re sharing the STAAR testing schedule early so you can plan ahead. Testing will take place in April, but it’s never too early to start preparing and planning!

Parents, The road work appears complete at this time, and we will resume our normal pick up procedures in the front of the elementary. Reminders: Elementary dismisses at 3:40. Please communicate with the office if there is a change in how your child is going home.

Reminder for tonight’s playoff game: Tickets must be purchased online only. A clear bag policy will be enforced, and no outside food or drinks will be allowed. Reminder! Today at 4:00 we will have the send-off for our Sterling City Lady Eagles! Come out and support these girls as they head into the next round. Be loud, be proud, honk, cheer, and help us show them that the entire town is behind them 100%! Let’s send them off the right way! 🦅

the “CNA Surveys” tab. After completing the survey, please
selected the purple “submit” button. Your input is greatly
appreciated, and all responses to the survey are anonymous.
Results from the survey will be shared with the District Planning
Committee. The survey will be available from March 2nd – March
31st
