What is FCCLA?FCCLA is the only career and technical student-led organization with the family as its central focus. FCCLA is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences Education curriculum and operates within the school system. FCCLA is the ultimate leadership experience, focusing on character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communications, practical knowledge, and career preparation. FCCLA has a national membership of nearly 220,000 young men and women in 7,000 local chapters in 53 state associations including, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
